Job summary

Eastlands Venue Services Limited (EVSL) is seeking a Logistics Operative to support matchdays, conferences, and major events at Etihad Stadium. You will help prepare and reset hospitality areas, meeting rooms, and operational spaces to the highest standards, while coordinating casual staff and ensuring timely delivery of services.

The role covers venue checks, asset movements, stock handling, and collaboration across departments to maintain safe, event-ready environments.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, warehouse, facilities, hospitality support, venue operations, or a similar operational environment.
• Experience coordinating or supervising casual, temporary, or agency team members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage competing priorities.
• Strong organisational, communication, and time-management skills.
• Customer-focused approach with ability to build relationships across departments.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Flexible and adaptable to changing operational requirements.
• Ability to undertake manual handling and operational tasks safely.
• Commitment to delivering work accurately, efficiently and to a high standard.

Responsibilities

• Venue Operations & Event Delivery: set‑up, breakdown, and preparation of hospitality areas, meeting rooms, conference facilities, and event spaces across the stadium.
• Team Coordination & Operational Support: coordinate casual logistics team members during events and provide guidance to ensure safe, productive operations.
• Logistics & Asset Management: movement, deployment, storage, and maintenance of furniture, equipment, and assets; conduct inventory checks.
• Health, Safety & Continuous Improvement: maintain high standards of safety and compliance; identify efficiency and service improvements.
