Job summary

Eastlands Venue Services Limited is seeking a Restaurant Host (Casual) at Medlock Square, part of the Etihad Campus. You will be the first and last contact for guests, ensuring a warm, confident welcome and seamless guest experience across our premium restaurant environments.

On matchdays and major events, you’ll contribute to a high-volume VIP hospitality operation while upholding exceptional service standards and guest care throughout the visit.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in a host, reception, guest services or customer-facing hospitality role.
• Passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Confident, professional and approachable manner.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to remain calm and professional in busy service environments.
• Flexible approach to working evenings, weekends and event days.

Responsibilities

• Guest Welcome & Experience: Provide a warm, professional and engaging welcome to all guests, creating a positive first impression of the venue.
• Reservations & Guest Flow: Support the management of reservations, seating plans, waitlists and guest communications.
• Matchday & Event Operations: Support the delivery of premium hospitality experiences during matchdays and major events.
• Standards & Presentation: Maintain exceptional personal presentation and uphold the highest standards across all guest arrival and reception areas.
• Guest Communication: Respond professionally to guest enquiries, requests and feedback, escalating concerns where appropriate.
