Job summary

Thomas Franks is seeking a Stadium Chef for our High Wycombe venue. Join a fast-paced team delivering fresh, seasonal menus to match-day attendees and events, cooking from scratch to the company’s brand standards.

You will bring CDP or junior sous chef level experience, stadium or large-event catering know-how, and a collaborative mindset. This full-time role offers 40 hours per week and progression within a leading independent contract caterer.

Job description

Contract: Full Time , Permanent
Salary: 40000-45000
Hours: 40 per week

A professional association football club based in the town of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire and the team competes in League One. Catering for about 10,000 people on match days. Lots of F&B Outlets and about 20 Private Boxes. This location operates 7 days a week.

We are looking for a talented Stadium Chef to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in High Wycombe.

You will have previous experience of working within a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or Junior sous chef level. You will have experience working in stadium environments, high end events catering or events venues.

You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.

Key responsibilities:

• To work well in a team of chefs providing catering services to match day attendees and events.
• To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards
• Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
• Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.

You will have the following skills:

• A genuine interest in food & excellent customer service.
• ideally experience working in a stadium setting.

• An organised Chef with attention to detail
• Understand the basics of food cost and wastage.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good standard of written English and reading skills.
• Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
