Job summary

Thomas Franks is seeking a Casual Stadium Chef to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in High Wycombe. You will work in a fast-paced kitchen, delivering fresh seasonal dishes for match days and events. Previous stadium experience and a passion for excellent food are essential.

You will collaborate with a team to prepare from-scratch dishes, maintain brand standards, and manage wastage with strong attention to cost control and customer service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or junior sous chef level.
• Experience working in stadium environments, high end events catering or events venues.
• Able to work with fresh seasonal ingredients and changing bespoke menus.

Responsibilities

• Work in a team of chefs to cater for match day attendees and events.
• Produce food from scratch following brand standards.
• Ensure food hygiene, safety policies and allergen controls are followed.
• Monitor wastage and maintain food cost controls.

Job description

A professional association football club based in the town of High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire and the team competes in League One. Catering for about 10,000 people on match days. Lots of F&B Outlets and about 20 Private Boxes. This location operates 7 days a week.

We are looking for a talented CasualStadium Chef to join our team at one of our prestigious locations in High Wycombe.

You will have previous experience of working within a fast-paced kitchen at CDP or Junior sous chef level. You will have experience working in stadium environments, high end events catering or events venues.

You will be excited to work with fresh seasonal ingredients & regularly changing bespoke menus. You will be creative and have the opportunity to showcase your skillset.

Key responsibilities:

• To work well in a team of chefs providing catering services to match day attendees and events.
• To produce food for service using fresh ingredients, cooking from scratch and following the companies brand standards
• Ensuring company food standards are adhered to and wastage controlled.
• Ensuring all Food Hygiene and Health & Safety policies and allergen control procedures are followed.

You will have the following skills:

• Understand the basics of food cost and wastage.
• Ability to demonstrate reasonable / good understanding and use of verbal English.

• Similar experience of customer and / or food preparation environment is preferred
