Job summary

Eligo Recruitment is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for a well-established electronic security business, based in St Albans. You will lead Projects and Service teams, delivering on-time, safe, and profitable project delivery while shaping operational performance.

The role involves coaching Project Managers and Engineers, improving processes, managing budgets, and building strong customer relationships while maintaining high standards of health and safety.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Projects and Service teams.
• Oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects and maintenance contracts.
• Manage operational performance, resource planning and workload allocation.
• Coach, mentor and develop Project Managers and Engineers.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Monitor project profitability and operational performance.
• Support forecasting, planning and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement across operational processes.
• Ensure Health & Safety, quality and compliance standards are maintained.
• Work closely with the wider management team to support the ongoing growth of the business.
