Job summary

Eligo Recruitment is seeking an experienced Operations Manager for an electronic security business in St Albans. You will lead Projects and Service teams, ensuring safe, efficient, and profitable delivery of contracts while supporting growth.

This office-based role (approx. 80%) combines strategic leadership with hands-on governance; travel to customer sites as needed. The package includes £70,000–£85,000 DOE, a £5,000 car allowance, and private medical insurance.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support the Projects and Service teams.
• Oversee the successful delivery of multiple projects and maintenance contracts.
• Manage operational performance, resource planning and workload allocation.
• Coach, mentor and develop Project Managers and Engineers.
• Build and maintain strong customer relationships.
• Monitor project profitability and operational performance.
• Support forecasting, planning and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement across operational processes.
• Ensure Health & Safety, quality and compliance standards are maintained.
• Work closely with the wider management team to support the ongoing growth of the business.
