Job summary

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in software engineering concepts with applied experience.
• Familiarity with site reliability culture and principles in applications or platforms.
• Proficiency in Python, Java/Spring Boot, or .Net.
• Experience with observability and monitoring toolsets (Grafana, Prometheus, Datadog, Splunk).
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab, or Terraform.
• Familiarity with containers/orchestration (ECS, Kubernetes, Docker).
• Troubleshooting networking technologies and issues.

Responsibilities

• Guide and assist in building designs and gain consensus from peers.
• Collaborate with software engineers to design deployment approaches via CI/CD pipelines.
• Design, develop, test, and implement reliability and scalability solutions.
• Implement infrastructure, configuration, and network as code for apps and platforms.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to resolve complex problems.
• Understand service level indicators and use service level objectives to preempt issues.
• Support the adoption of SRE best practices within the team.
