Job summary

JPMorganChase is seeking a Site Reliability Engineer II within Corporate Risk Technology to tackle complex problems with straightforward cloud-based and code-driven solutions. You will contribute to reliability, scalability, and incident response across critical platforms.

You will work with CI/CD pipelines, containerized deployments, and AI-enabled tooling to improve uptime and performance while ensuring security and data integrity.

Qualifications

• Formal training or certification in site reliability engineering.
• Proficiency in SRE culture and principles.
• Proficiency in at least one programming language (Python, Java/Spring Boot, or .NET).
• Experience with observability practices and telemetry collection.
• Working knowledge of enterprise AI capabilities and data handling.

Responsibilities

• Guide and support team members in building appropriate-level designs and adopt SRE best practices.
• Collaborate with engineers to design, test, and implement deployment and reliability approaches with CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement infrastructure, configuration, and network as code for applications and platforms.
• Resolve complex problems and proactively address issues using SLIs/SLOs before customer impact.
• Identify roadblocks and propose improvements; explore new technologies where appropriate.
• Apply availability, reliability, and scalability principles to improve outcomes with partners.
• Use enterprise AI capabilities to accelerate incident triage and post-incident analysis with proper validation.
• Identify patterns indicating reliability risk and prioritize reuse-first improvements linked to SLOs.
