As a Senior Sales Executive, you will drive business growth by managing key accounts and acquiring new clients. The role requires proactive, consultative selling, client relationship management, and new business development. You will identify prospects, develop and manage key accounts, and negotiate high-value deals.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement strategies to acquire new business, including outbound prospecting and engaging prospective customers.
- Articulate GRC Solutions' value proposition to help customers understand its benefits for governance, risk, and compliance.
- Manage and develop an account portfolio, including key accounts.
- Build trust and relationships with senior executives through professionalism and relevance to business issues.
- Identify opportunities within targeted markets and develop relationships with key decision-makers.
- Assist customers in identifying cybersecurity and data privacy compliance solutions.
- Handle bids, pitches, tenders, and prepare proposals for senior stakeholders.
- Manage pipelines, budgeting, and forecasting.
- Achieve sales targets and KPIs consistently.
- Maintain knowledge of the GRC market and competitors.
- Stay updated on products, services, and industry developments.
- Provide feedback to support sales strategies.
Person Specification
Essential Skills and Experience
- Proven experience in bringing in new business and consultative selling.
- Track record of meeting sales targets and KPIs.
- Experience in senior sales or account management roles.
- Excellent pipeline management, forecasting, and budgeting skills.
- Contract negotiation skills and commercial acumen.
- Experience working with C-Suite executives.
- Familiarity with CRM systems (preferably Salesforce).
- Experience with tenders and excellent MS Office skills.
- Knowledge of cybersecurity and data privacy markets.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
