Job summary

ACI Worldwide in the United Kingdom is seeking a Senior New Business Developer for Merchant Payments. You will prospect, sell and close enterprise payment solutions, building plans and leading opportunities from ground up in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

The successful candidate will have 5+ years selling Merchant Payments, a Bachelor's degree, excellent communication, stakeholder management, and a proven track record of hitting targets.

The purpose of the Senior New Business Developer- Merchant Payments role is:

Responsible for prospecting and selling ACI Merchant Payment solutions. You will develop a plan and manage the process of bringing the identified sales opportunities to a successful close. Success in this role requires a self-starter mindset, strong business development skills, and the ability to create opportunities from the ground up. The Senior New Business Developer owns quota attainment for net-new logos within their territory and reports to the geographic leader.

This individual must deeply understand customer needs, activate cross-functional ACI resources (including Strategic Product Consultants, Customer Solution Specialists, and Breakout Deal Developers), and position ACI’s value proposition effectively to close deals. Expertise in selling enterprise payment solutions—is essential.

A typical day at ACI for aSenior New Business Developer is:

• Identifies opportunities within the Merchant Payments
• Establishes ACI’s overall relationship with prospective customers, with emphasis on developing and maintaining effective relationships with key decision makers.
• Strategically partner with both business and technical teams internally and externally to identify technology solutions.
• Accountable for establishing sales strategies and mobilizing the appropriate ACI resources to close the opportunity.
• Manage all administrative aspects of the assignment including, but not limited to account profiles, sales pipeline records, prospective customer organization charts, consistent with ACI’s best sales practices.
• Stay current on ACI products/enhancements, competitive activities and industry trends.
• Perform other duties as assigned
• Understand and adhere to all corporate policies to include but not limited to the ACI Code of Business Conduct and Ethics

Knowledge, Skills and Experience required for the job:

• Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience
• 5+ years’ experience in Merchant Payments solution selling.
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• Strong collaboration experience with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to meet and exceed targets.
• Strong personal motivation and ability to work in a dynamic team.
