Overview
We are actively seeking an experienced Sr. Account Executive (SAE). The role will report directly to a Director of Sales, EMEA. SAEs may work from a remote office within the United Kingdom. The role will require periodic travel as necessary (expected 30% - 50%) across the Theatre / Region to meet with prospects and clients.
Responsibilities
- Create awareness and demand for Rimini Street products and services by developing your territory with the support of field marketing and your own planned outreach
- Identify and qualify sales opportunities through direct prospecting, lead follow-up, networking, and working with lead generation team. Developing your own sales qualified leads is a strong requirement.
- Establish a dialogue with prospects and understand their unique goals, problems, and needs
- Provide and guide prospects' strategic vision to drive them toward the Rimini Street solutions portfolio.
- Use company provided assets to create or customize compelling sales presentation messages, positioning statements, and other sales collateral for specific sales opportunities
- Orchestrate and drive the Rimini Street sales process by working collaboratively with functional peers (Sales Engineers, Delivery, Operations, Legal, Marketing, Finance) to successfully win an opportunity
- Implement and utilize current Social and Digital selling strategies to maximize opportunities via Social Networking platforms
- Be an expert in LinkedIn and LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar tools to develop your own unique outreach in your territory
- Update and track all activities in our Salesforce CRM tool
- Leverage Clari or similar sales efficiency tools to help manage your opportunities
- Accurately forecast and meet quarterly and annual sales commitments
- Be a continuous learner that embraces enablement and staying up to date on the latest technology, products, offerings, and selling tools / skills
Qualifications
- 10+ years' enterprise selling experience, selling new and innovative enterprise services and solutions into the UK Public Sector in particular.
- Depth of overall sales experience
- Command knowledge of the UK public services industry
- Record of sustained and significant quota over-achievement
- Familiarity of transacting through UK Government frameworks i.e. G-Cloud, KCS etc
- Experience of working with and through the partner ecosystem engaged in the UK Public Sector
- SC Clearance or have held UK Govt clearances in the past
Skills
- Strong territory and account planning skills including ability and passion for prospecting
- Highly developed selling, customer relations, and negotiation skills with the ability to effectively communicate with C-level executives, procurement, legal, and line of business representatives
- Ability to engage prospects with a consultative sales approach
- Have strong writing and presentation skills
- Proven analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Proven experience with Social and Digital selling techniques
- Deep knowledge of key prospecting and selling tools
- Able to work under stress and handle multiple critical priorities
- Very strong work ethic with "can do, roll up sleeves to figure it out" attitude
- Ability to leverage supporting team of Sales Engineers, Lead Generation, and Marketing, Business Development, and Inside Sales
Education
Bachelor's degree required
Travel Expectations
30% - 50% travel across the region.
