Hours: Full time covering long term absence

End Date: Ongoing

About the Role

We are seeking a motivated, professional Sports Lecturer to join the delivery team at a well established further education provider in Northamptonshire. This temporary role will cover a long term absence and offers the opportunity to work in a supportive academic environment with a varied learner cohort. You will deliver practical and theory based sport sessions, assess learner progress, and contribute to a positive learning experience.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality sport lessons to learners at various levels
• Plan and assess engaging and inclusive sessions
• Monitor learner progress and provide constructive feedback
• Support learner development both inside and outside the classroom
• Work collaboratively with the wider academic team

Candidate Requirements

• Bachelor s degree in a relevant sport related subject (minimum BSc)
• Ideally, some previous teaching or further education experience
• Passionate about sport and learner engagement
• A current DBS or willing to have one added to the update service
• Strong communication and organisational skills
