Job summary

Cardiff Metropolitan University is seeking an Operations Assistant to help run the campus sports facilities, including front of house, safety procedures and supporting the sports programme for students, staff and the community.

You will work as part of a team, using Microsoft Office, with emphasis on customer service, bookings and guidance to facilities. Prior experience in a sports environment is preferred.

Qualifications

• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Experience working within a sports environment preferred.
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with front of house/reception and general operation of campus sports facilities.
• Support implementation of the sports programme to meet needs of students, staff and external users.
• Answer booking inquiries and manage access to facilities, including memberships and prices.
