Job summary

University of Stirling is seeking a Sports Assistant to support the Sport strategy across campus facilities. The role focuses on delivering excellent customer care, preparing activity areas, and ensuring facilities are safe and welcoming for users.

You will work a 36-hour week on a pattern including early mornings, evenings, weekends and bank holidays, with a requirement to wear a uniform and participate in staff training.

Responsibilities

• Prepare activity areas, meeting rooms and changing areas for use.
• Monitor use of facilities and ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Promote safe and effective exercise; supervise fitness centre and activity areas.
• Undertake portering duties and manual handling as required.
• Provide information to customers and respond to enquiries.
