Cardiff Metropolitan University is seeking an Operations Assistant to help run our campus sports facilities, including front-of-house tasks and ensuring a safe, welcoming environment for students, staff and the community.
You will support the sports programme, assist with bookings and memberships, and handle enquiries by face-to-face, email or telephone, while helping to maintain cleanliness and security across facilities.
The Operations Assistant is a key role in delivering our sports facilities, working across areas of the operation, including front of house and within the sports facilities to assist the team in providing a high-quality facility, a safe environment in which students, athletes and the community can train, compete and spectate.
As our Operations Assistant, you’ll:
You’ll be able to work collaboratively as part of a team, and display effective communication and time management skills. An ability to use Microsoft Office platforms will help to ensure effective utilisation of our facilities. Additionally, you’ll bring previous work experience of working within a sports environment.
