Job summary

University of Stirling Sport is seeking a Sports Assistant to support facilities management and customer service across university facilities. You will help prepare activity spaces, monitor usage, and ensure safety and cleanliness.

The role requires flexibility for early mornings, evenings, weekends and holidays as part of a 36-hour week. You will act as a helpful information point for customers, assist with tours when required, and contribute to service development and team duties in a busy

Responsibilities

• Daily Operations: prepare activity areas for use, monitor facility usage, ensure safety and cleanliness.
• Customer Care: provide information, handle enquiries, resolve issues and maintain front-of-house service quality.
• Service Development: contribute to continuous improvement and team collaboration.
• Administration: perform daily checks and routine administrative tasks.
• Continuous Improvement: attend training and contribute to service development.
• Health, Safety and Security: follow policies, emergency procedures, and report issues promptly.
• Administering: complete records accurately and provide thorough handovers.
• Communicating: interact effectively with staff and customers.
• Miscellaneous: undertake other duties as required by management.
