A local authority in South Wales is seeking a Sports Coach to engage residents in physical activity across various community projects. This role involves delivering sports sessions to children and families in schools, as well as community events. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic and capable of working with diverse groups. The position is casual, with pay ranging from £26,824 to £28,598, and requires an enhanced DBS check. Flexibility in hours is expected, based on project needs.
As a sports coach within the Healthy Living Team, our priorities are to increase physical activity levels / numbers of residents engaged in sport. Our work covers a wide span of ages ranging from early years to older people through different projects.

Pay Details: Grade 5, SCP 8-12, £26,824 - £28,598 (Full Salary), £13.90- £14.82 (Hourly Rate)
Main Place of Work: Various locations across the Vale
Hours of Work: Casual – as and when required
