Job summary

Alzheimer’s Research UK is seeking a Sporting Events Administrator to join the Sporting Events Team. You will be the first point of contact for fundraisers, provide administrative support, manage data, and help coordinate events and stewardship for supporters.

You will work closely with SEMs and SEOs, building relationships, delivering excellent customer service, and supporting fundraising income growth. The role requires flexibility for occasional unsociable hours and travel.

Qualifications

• Experience of working in a customer service role.
• Use of CRM or database systems.
• Confident working with computers – good knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and databases.
• Excellent, enthusiastic telephone manner.
• Ability to build rapport and establish relationships with our supporters quickly and effectively.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organisational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• A professional and hard-working team player.
• Flexibility to work occasional unsociable hours and willingness to travel independently.
• Contagious enthusiasm to inspire supporters.

Responsibilities

• Be the first point of contact for Sporting Event fundraisers and provide excellent customer service.
• Provide administrative support to the Sporting Events team and manage records.
• Support SEOs with day-to-day activity and priorities.
• Manage fundraising data in Salesforce and ensure donors are thanked.
• Ensure fundraisers and volunteers have necessary materials.
• Support the delivery of sporting fundraising events and logistics.
• Attend weekend events when required.
