Job summary

Children and Family Health Devon is recruiting a Speech and Language Therapy Clinical Team Manager to lead the SLT clinical team across the South Devon and Torbay locality. The role focuses on operational management, delivery of evidence-based care, and collaboration with partner services to improve outcomes for children and families.

You will supervise SLTs and assistants, manage staff wellbeing, and contribute to service development.

Qualifications

• Proven leadership and supervisory experience in a multi-disciplinary setting.
• Experience delivering services within children and young people health.
• Experience with HR processes including appraisals, performance and sickness management.
• Experience using data to drive service improvements.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day operational management of the clinical team.
• Ensure delivery of evidence-based clinical care.
• Collaborate with other pathways, health specialties and partner organisations.
• Supervise clinicians and support staff, ensuring HR policies are followed.
• Attend and chair meetings and deputise for the Operations Manager as required.
