An exciting opportunity has arisen to recruit two 1.0 WTE Band 5 Speech and Language Therapists to our well established Speech and Language Therapy Team which provides a service across Hull and East Riding. These posts are fixed-term contracts for 1 year. This post is for anyone interested in developing their clinical skills working with children with a range of communication needs within mainstream settings, special schools, pre-school and clinics.

Main duties of the job

To deliver high level, quality care and evidence-based interventions in line with local and national guidance within identified clinical areaTo deliver SLT intervention in both autonomous and multidisciplinary workingTo plan, provide and evaluate interventions within an identified clinical areaTo participate in the delivery of service specific training as requiredTo support identified support workersTo undertake administrative duties as requiredTo manage a caseload, including self-directed planning and time management within identified clinical area
