Mitchell Maguire is seeking a Specification Sales Manager for ventilation products covering the North West. You will drive new business, sell to M&E consultants, specifiers and housebuilders, and manage projects from £50k to £500k.

The role emphasizes technical product knowledge, relationship-building with specifiers, and a strategic approach to winning specification-led contracts in the new build market.

Qualifications

• Specification sales experience with ventilation, plumbing & heating, boilers, electrical systems, or related building services products.
• Experience with M&E consultants or specifiers.
• Highly organised team player with proactive sales mindset.

Responsibilities

• Field sales for ventilation products to new build markets.
• Build relationships with M&E consultants, specifiers, housebuilders, and contractors.
• Target projects typically in the £50k–£500k range.
• Generate new business opportunities and account growth.
• Cover the North West region and contribute to quarterly targets.

Specification Sales Manager – Ventilation Products

Industry Sector: Specification Sales Manager, Specifiers, Technical Sales Manager, Area Sales Manager, Business Development Manager, HVAC, Ventilation Products, New Build, M&E Consultant, M&E Contractor, M&E, Building Services, Mechanical Engineering, Plumbing & Heating, Boilers, Heat Pumps, Electrical.

Area to be covered: North West.

Remuneration: £45,000 – £60,000 + uncapped commission (1.5% of all sales paid monthly) + discretionary annual bonus between £6,000 – £12,000.

Responsibilities

• Field sales position selling a high quality manufactured range of ventilation products and systems purely for the new build market.
• Working on new build projects such as apartment blocks, student accommodation, hotels, care homes and new building housing.
• Focus on and sell to M&E consultants, specifiers, housebuilders, and M&E contractors.
• Generate new business relationships.
• Deal with typical projects of around £50k – £500k depending on the size of the project.

Ideal Qualifications

• Specification sales experience with similar technical products such as ventilation, plumbing & heating, boilers, electrical systems, air conditioning, building services, mechanical engineering, piping systems, heat pumps etc.
• Contacts or specification sales experience with M&E consultants.
• Team player who is highly organised.
