Mitchell Maguire is recruiting for Specification Sales Managers – Residential Mechanical Ventilation in the South England area near London. The role focuses on promoting a mid to high end range of MEV/MVHR systems to residential developers, architects and M&E consultants, with 80% new business and 20% follow-up opportunities across 1–200 unit projects.

Responsibilities

• Promote a mid to high end range of mechanical ventilation to residential markets.
• Win specifications with housebuilders, architects and M&E consultants.
• 80% new business development; 20% developing projects from existing relationships.
• Progress projects from 1–200 houses/flats.
• Work in a buddy system with another specification sales rep.
• Be the go-to person for technical insight and smart solutions.
• Travel within the South region, ideally near London.
• Collaborate with other internal teams to close opportunities.

Specification Sales Managers – Residential Mechanical Ventilation

Industry Sector: HVAC, M&E, Mechanical Ventilation, Heat Pumps, Air Conditioning, MEV, MVHR, Smart Solutions, Residential, M&E Contractors, M&E Consultants, Architects, Housebuilders, Mechanical Installers and HVAC Distributors

Areas to be covered: South based ideally near to London

Remuneration: £40,000-£55,000 + £10,000 Bonus

Benefits: £7,800 Car Allowance + full benefits package

Role

The role of the Specification Sales Managers – Residential Mechanical Ventilation will involve:

• Field sales role promoting a mid to high end range of mechanical ventilation, including MEV and MVHR systems
• Focused on the residential ventilation market
• Winning specifications with housebuilders, architects and M&E Consultants
• 80% new business development roles, 20% developing projects from existing relationships
• Projects from 1-200 houses/ flats
• Typical order value £(phone number removed) per house/ flat
• Working in buddy system with either a specification field sales representative or an area field sales representative
• Acting as the go-to person for technical insight and smart solutions

Qualifications and Experience

The ideal applicant will be a Specification Sales Manager – Residential Mechanical Ventilation with:

• Proven field sales track record in HVAC sales
• Must have sold into the residential marketplace
• Preferably sold ventilation, but open to heat pumps and air conditioning field sales experience
• Contacts within housebuilders, architects and M&E Consultants preferred
• New business hunter
• Stable career history
• High energy
• Resilient personality
• Technically capable, energetic, intelligent and commercially aware
