Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a Specification Sales Manager for Aluminium Decking & Balustrades Systems covering London & South East. You will generate specifications with architects, consultants and specifiers, and sell directly to housebuilders, developers, main contractors and balcony fabricators.

The role focuses on high-rise projects and balcony systems, with target-driven turnover and substantial order values.

Qualifications

• Must have sold a technical product such as aluminium decking, balconies, cladding or facades.
• Experience selling to architects, consultants, specifiers, contractors and fabricators.

Responsibilities

• Field sales to architects, consultants and specifiers for aluminium decking & balustrades.
• Sell to housebuilders, developers, main contractors, balcony fabricators and deck fitting contractors.
• Generate specifications with architects and specifiers.
• Turnover target will be set based on experience.
• Average order value £20k–£250k+.

The role of the Specification Sales Manager – Aluminium Decking & Balustrades Systems will involve:

• Field sales position selling a high quality range of aluminium cladding decking systems for balconies in the high rise sector
• All of your time will be spent generating specification with architects, consultants and specifiers & selling directly to housebuilders, developers, main contractors, balcony fabricators and deck fitting contractors
• The remaining portion of your time will be spent influencing and generating specifications with architects, consultants and specifiers
• Turnover target will be set depending on your experience
• Average order value can vary from anything from £20k-£250k+
• Typical project would include: high rise office space, residential high rise or block of flats / apartments

The ideal applicant will be an Specification Sales Manager – Aluminium Decking & Balustrades Systems with:

• Must have sold a technical related product such as: aluminium decking, balconies, cladding, facades, building envelope, timber frame, off site modular, roofing systems, rain screen, solar shading, glazing systems, insulation, facades etc
• Must have sold to architects, consultants, specifiers, contractors and fabricators
• Ideally from the aluminium decking market place however not essential
• Project led with an ability to think laterally
• Technically capable, ability to assist with designing solutions to clients’ needs
