Job summary

Mitchell Maguire is seeking a Specification Sales Manager for Aluminium Decking & Balustrades Systems. You will drive specification with architects, consultants, specifiers and main contractors across London & South East, targeting high-rise residential and commercial projects.

You will manage high-value orders, build relationships with housebuilders, developers and balcony fabricators, and represent a high quality range of decking and cladding systems.

Qualifications

• Experience selling to architects, consultants and specifiers
• Technical product sales in decking/cladding or related building systems
• Project-led with ability to think laterally

Responsibilities

• Field sales position selling a high quality range of aluminium cladding decking systems for balconies in the high rise sector
• Time spent generating specification with architects, consultants and specifiers & selling to housebuilders, developers, main contractors, balcony fabricators and deck fitting contractors
• Influence and generate specifications with architects, consultants and specifiers
• Turnover target set according to experience
• Average order value ranges from £20k-£250k+
• Typical project includes high rise office space or residential blocks

The role of the Specification Sales Manager - Aluminium Decking & Balustrades Systems will involve:

• Field sales position selling a high quality range of aluminium cladding decking systems for balconies in the high rise sector
• All of your time will be spent generating specification with architects, consultants and specifiers & selling directly to housebuilders, developers, main contractors, balcony fabricators and deck fitting contractors
• The remaining portion of your time will be spent influencing and generating specifications with architects, consultants and specifiers
• Turnover target will be set depending on your experience
• Average order value can vary from anything from £20k-£250k+
• Typical project would include: high rise office space, residential high rise or block of flats / apartments

The ideal applicant will be an Specification Sales Manager - Aluminium Decking & Balustrades Systems with:

• Must have sold a technical related product such as: aluminium decking, balconies, cladding, facades, building envelope, timber frame, off site modular, roofing systems, rain screen, solar shading, glazing systems, insulation, facades etc
• Must have sold to architects, consultants, specifiers, contractors and fabricators
• Ideally from the aluminium decking market place however not essential
• Project led with an ability to think laterally
• Technically capable, ability to assist with designing solutions to clients' needs
