Job summary

Riverside is seeking a Specialist Support Worker (Complex Needs Coordinator) at our Old Tea Warehouse site in High Wycombe. The role is permanent, 37.5 hours per week, with a rota including early and late shifts and some weekends.

You will support service delivery, manage complex caseloads, build relationships with customers and partners, and contribute to safeguarding and continuous improvement across the service.

Qualifications

• Recent experience of support work, risk management and managing caseloads with vulnerable and diverse customer groups.
• Knowledge and continuous personal development of working with vulnerable adults using specialist knowledge.
• Experience in challenging environments with planning, prioritising and organising tasks to achieve results.
• Experience in building effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• As the Specialist Support Worker, assist the Service Manager with planning and may delegate case management.
• Develop relationships with local services and stakeholders to broaden customer access to resources.
• Attend events and promote the Psychologically Informed Framework and Trauma Informed approaches.
• Ensure consistent, asset-based support across local pathways and services.
• Produce reports to support service delivery and work within a multi-disciplinary team.
• Follow health, safety and safeguarding policies to protect customers and records.
• Coordinate and deliver a group-based activities programme for the service.
• Share specialist knowledge with colleagues to support customers and services.
