Job summary

Riverside is seeking a Specialist Support Worker in Barnet to deliver asset-based, trauma-informed support within our services. You will lead within your specialism, coordinate case work, and collaborate with partners to secure appropriate community resources for customers.

The role requires experience with vulnerable adults, risk management, and building strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, operating in a flexible, customer‑centred delivery model.

Qualifications

• Recent experience of support work, risk management and managing caseloads and working with vulnerable and diverse customer groups.
• Knowledge and proven continuous personal development of working with vulnerable adults utilising 'specialist knowledge'.
• Experience of working in challenging environments with the ability to plan, prioritise and organise tasks to achieve results.
• Experience of building effective relationships with customers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan within the service and support the Service Manager, including delegating case management and ensuring effective service delivery.
• Engage with local services and stakeholders to enable access to resources and share updates with colleagues.
• Attend networking events and forums promoting Trauma Informed care and related frameworks.
• Follow safeguarding and health and safety procedures to ensure customer safety and wellbeing.
• Provide written reports to support service delivery and performance reviews.
• Lead on multi-disciplinary teamwork and support group activities within the service.
