A leading healthcare provider is looking for a part-time Speech and Language Therapist to manage a caseload in mainstream schools in Lancing, West Sussex. This role includes assessment and therapy for children with speech and language delays, and offers excellent training opportunities and a supportive team environment. Flexible working and a focus on wellbeing are key aspects of this position.
Come and join our friendly, creative speech and language therapy team in Worthing locality which is on the beautiful West Sussex coastline, with easy access to Brighton, London and the South Downs.
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a permanent band 6 post working within the Mainstream team, this role will include delivering some therapy to children in mainstream schools.
This would be a varied role with lots of opportunities supported by our experienced clinical leads. We are committed to CPD and have individual CPD budgets. We have a strong focus on wellbeing with specific team wellbeing events throughout the years.

Within the mainstream school team you will be responsible for managing your own caseload within identified schools, providing assessment, therapy, advice and training as required. An ability to develop strong working relationships with education staff is essential and you will also have the opportunity to work closely with our SALTA who provides therapy in school to specific children.

To provide advice to other professionals and parents in order to support the needs of children with speech, language and communication delay and disorder in specialist area.
To liaise with other agencies and services e.g. schools, social care, and voluntary agencies.
To advise and provide clinical support to other therapists.
