Job summary

Flourish Education is seeking an experienced SEND Teacher for a Worcester primary school. The role is full-time from October until the end of the academic year, based in the school's specialist resource base with 1:1 support and Teaching Assistants.

The successful candidate will have QTS, SEN experience and the ability to adapt teaching for a range of complex needs. DBS check and excellent references are required.

Qualifications

• QTS required and SEN experience essential.
• Experience with EHCPs and personalised learning programmes.
• Ability to adapt teaching for complex needs and SEMH.
• DBS check up to date or within last 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver differentiated lessons in the resource base.
• Teach pupils with SEN and SEMH needs, including high needs.
• Adapt curriculum and resources to individual pupil needs.
• Collaborate with Teaching Assistants and 1:1 staff.
• Monitor pupil progress and document outcomes.
• Maintain safeguarding and positive behaviour approaches.
