Job summary

Axcis Education is seeking a dedicated SEND Teaching Assistant to join a specialist secondary SEND school in North Birmingham. The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, with a daily pay rate of £92.63 and hours 8:30am - 4:00pm.

Start date is immediate, supporting students aged 11-16 with ASC and various SEND needs. You will provide 1:1 and small-group support, help pupils access the curriculum, and work closely with teachers and staff to deliver personalised learning plans in a calm, inclusive

Qualifications

• Experience supporting children or young people with SEND/ASC and related needs.
• Ability to implement personalised learning strategies and behaviour support.

Responsibilities

• Support pupils with ASC and additional SEND needs in the classroom.
• Provide 1:1 and small-group support to access the curriculum.
• Assist with social, emotional, and behavioural development.
• Help students achieve individual learning targets and develop life skills.
• Collaborate with teachers and support staff to implement learning plans.
