Job summary

Axcis Education in the Bromsgrove area is seeking dedicated teaching assistants to support a SEND school catering for ages 4–19. The school requires multiple TAs to work with pupils who have exceptional SEND needs and may display challenging behaviour.

You will join a team, work 1:1 and in small groups (2–3), follow class plans, and feedback to the teacher. The role is full-time, temporary, and requires resilience, reliability and a commitment to safeguarding.

Qualifications

• Experience working 1:1 with SEND pupils.
• Experience with complex ASD.
• Enhanced DBS with Update Service required.
• Minimum of 2 references.

Responsibilities

• Whole class support but 1:1 or small group work.
• 1:1 with SEND pupils who may display challenging behaviour.
• Work independently and as part of a team.
• Follow teacher planning and provide feedback on sessions.
• Start ASAP; 8:30am–3:30pm, Monday to Friday.
