Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking an experienced Primary Teacher – SEND for a specialist provision in Bradford. You will deliver specialist lessons to pupils with additional needs, differentiating content and supporting language, communication and social development.

A patient, resilient approach and strong collaboration with support staff are essential. QTS is required and prior primary teaching experience in SEND settings is preferred.

Qualifications

• QTS is required.
• Experience in primary teaching.

• Confident working with teaching assistants and support staff.

Responsibilities

• Specialist Teaching: Deliver personalised lessons to pupils with additional needs.
• Differentiation: Adapt curriculum content and teaching methods to learning profiles.
• Communication: Support pupils' language, communication and social-development skills.
• Behaviour: Establish predictable routines and positive behaviour strategies.
• Individual Targets: Contribute to personalised learning plans and progress reviews.
• Multi-Agency Working: Liaise with families, support staff and external professionals.
• Assessment: Monitor academic, social and emotional progress.
