Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking a resilient Primary Teacher for a specialist SEND/SEMH setting in Manchester. You will deliver engaging lessons to primary-aged pupils with diverse SEND needs, adapting planning to individual profiles and collaborating with therapists and support staff.

The role requires QTS, strong behaviour management and a calm, patient approach. A genuine interest in inclusive education and experience with SEMH or SEND is desirable; mainstream teachers with the right mindset

Qualifications

• QTS and qualified to teach in the UK.
• Primary teaching experience with SEND/ SEMH preferred.
• Ability to differentiate for diverse learning needs.
• Strong behaviour-management skills.

Responsibilities

• Deliver engaging lessons to primary pupils with SEND/SEMH.
• Differentiate instruction to meet individual learning profiles.
• Establish clear boundaries and supportive routines.
• Collaborate with therapists, support workers and families.
• Track progress and contribute to individual targets.
