Job summary

Marchant Recruitment is seeking a patient and dedicated Primary Teacher to join a specialist SEND provision in Doncaster, South Yorkshire. The role is full-time and permanent, with MPS/UPS salary plus SEN allowance starting ASAP.

You will work with teaching assistants and colleagues to design personalised learning, monitor progress and maintain safeguarding. The school emphasises pupil-centred, differentiated lessons and strong teamwork to support pupils with additional learning needs.

Qualifications

• QTS and primary teaching experience required.
• SEND experience is desirable; strong mainstream teachers may be considered.
• Patient, resilient and adaptable approach.
• Strong differentiation and behaviour-support skills.
• Effective communication and teamwork.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver lessons tailored to pupils' individual learning profiles.
• Adapt activities and resources to meet pupils' needs.
• Develop literacy, numeracy, life skills and wider curriculum knowledge.
• Use consistent, supportive approaches to encourage engagement and independence.
• Contribute to individual learning targets and review pupil development.
• Collaborate with families, support staff and external professionals.
• Maintain safeguarding and pupil welfare.
