Your Role & Responsibilities: As Spa Manager, you will be the driving force behind the smooth and successful daily operations of our spa. Your leadership will inspire a team that consistently delivers exceptional service and ensures our guests leave feeling revitalized and rejuvenated.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading day-to-day spa operations with precision and excellence.
  • Building strong professional relationships across departments, ensuring seamless collaboration and maintaining the highest business standards.
  • Managing team dynamics with grace, resolving conflicts, and overcoming challenges to foster a positive working environment.
  • Prioritizing staff training and development, ensuring our team provides exceptional service and exceeds client expectations.
  • Strategically managing spa operations within budgetary limits while maximizing cost-effectiveness.
  • Driving retail and treatment sales targets, motivating the team to achieve success.
  • Conducting regular spa inspections to maintain top-tier cleanliness, presentation, and operational standards.
  • Developing and executing a recruitment strategy in partnership with management to build an outstanding team.

Health & Safety Leadership: At Champneys, the safety of our guests and staff is a top priority. As Spa Manager, you will:

  • Ensure strict compliance with health & safety protocols, including fire safety and hazardous substance handling.
  • Guarantee all staff are trained and qualified to provide treatments and classes safely.
  • Take full responsibility for Health & Safety within the spa department.

Your Knowledge & Expertise: To excel in this role, you must have:

  • A deep understanding of treatment procedures and spa products, tailoring services to meet each client’s unique needs.
  • Familiarity with the skills of your team to assign tasks effectively and maximize their strengths.
  • Proficiency in Fire, Health, and Safety Procedures, ensuring a safe and compliant working environment.
  • Proven experience in managing a spa, demonstrating strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and determination to drive success.

Qualifications: We’re looking for a candidate who meets the following criteria:

  • NVQ Level 3 in Beauty Therapy (minimum requirement)
  • Spa Management qualification (preferred but not essential)
  • Experience running a spa with a strong focus on leadership and operations
  • A determined, results-driven mindset with a passion for delivering excellence
