Job description

Graduate Hotels is seeking an experienced Spa Manager to join The Randolph Hotel in Oxford, part of Graduate Hotels by Hilton and its team of hospitality enthusiasts!

THE ROLE

As Spa Manager, you will be responsible for the effective operation and development of the Wellness Spa department in the hotel. You will manage and motivate your team while demonstrating professionalism. You should be capable of working in a busy environment, adaptable, and flexible to meet operational needs, while maximizing revenue through treatments and retail sales.

JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Manage all aspects of the Wellness Spa, including finance, training, promotions, and performance management to ensure memorable guest experiences.
  2. Develop and implement the department training plan and conduct hands-on training for new recruits.
  3. Develop and deliver the overall Spa Strategy in conjunction with the General Manager.
  4. Exceed guest expectations and seek feedback to improve the guest experience.
  5. Maintain cleanliness and proper upkeep of all spa areas.
  6. Ensure consistency in Spa experience development, maintaining innovation and uniqueness.
  7. Maintain high standards in treatments, maximize revenue, and retail sales.
  8. Manage inventories of Spa products to control operational costs.
  9. Ensure compliance with hotel policies and procedures, including health, hygiene, emergency, and fire safety.
  10. Monitor and analyze competitor spas to maintain a competitive edge.
  11. Attend daily HOD meetings.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
  1. NVQ Level 3 Beauty Therapy qualification or equivalent.
  2. A keen interest in wellbeing, beauty, and sustainability.
  3. Excellent customer service skills and a passion for wellbeing.
  4. Management experience in a luxury spa environment.
  5. Extensive knowledge of spa treatments.
  6. Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  7. Strong leadership, training, and development skills.
