Job summary

Scolmore is recruiting a Regional Specification & Key Account Manager for the South, reporting to the Sales Director and part of the National Sales Management team. You will oversee Specification Sales Managers, drive turnover in the Southern Region and build strong customer relationships while managing budgets and events.

The role requires leadership, an electrical background, and a proactive approach to trading terms, with regular travel and HR policy adherence. Location: Tamworth, UK.

Qualifications

• Proven track record in specification sales with electrical background.
• Understanding of discounts and rebates trading philosophy.
• Strong work ethic and results-driven mindset.
• Ability to lead by example and follow HR policies.
• Willingness to travel regularly.
• Outgoing personality and ability to build rapport with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Manage activity of the Specification Sales Managers.
• Deliver the agreed turnover budget for the region.
• Provide guidance, support and line management to team members.
• Provide monthly feedback via reports and meetings on results.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customer personnel in the Region.
• Manage the Regional Expenditure budget and records.
• Arrange/attend and support relevant customer events and meetings.
• Handle performance/absence/people management issues with HR support.
• Attend managers training on a monthly basis if applicable.
