Job summary

Scolmore is seeking a Regional Specification & Key Account Manager for the South region, based in Tamworth. The role reports to the Sales Director and sits within the National Sales Management team for the Southern Region.

You will lead Specification Sales Managers, drive turnover, manage budgets, and build strong customer relationships. The ideal candidate has a proven specification sales background, ideally with an electrical background, strong people management skills, and a good grasp of

Qualifications

• Proven record in specification sales, ideally with an electrical background.
• Understanding of customer base and trading philosophy (discounts/rebates).
• Strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
• Experience in people management and HR policy adherence.
• Willingness to travel and work away from home regularly.
• Excellent relationship-building with internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Manage activity of Specification Sales Managers across strategic business requirements.
• Deliver agreed regional turnover budget through the above activity.
• Provide guidance, support and line management to team members to ensure task execution.
• Provide monthly feedback and meetings on results to enable budget delivery.
• Develop and maintain relationships with key customer personnel for local trading agreements.
• Manage regional expenditure budget and records.
• Arrange/attend and support relevant customer events across the region.
• Deal with performance/absence/people management issues with HR support.
• Attend managers training on a monthly basis if applicable.
