Job summary

Scolmore UK is seeking a Regional Specification & Key Account Manager - South, reporting to the Sales Director as part of the National Sales Management team. You will oversee Specification Sales Managers and drive regional turnover, building strong relationships with RD/MD/Owner level contacts across the South.

Your role includes guiding the team, managing budgets, attending events, and ensuring delivery of budget targets, with regular HR-supported performance management and the ability to

Qualifications

• Proven track record in specification sales, preferably with electrical background.
• Understanding of discounts and rebates in trading.
• Strong work ethic and desire to succeed.
• Experience in people management and HR policy compliance.
• Flexible to travel away from home regularly.
• Excellent relationship-building with internal/external stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Lead Specification Sales Managers and drive regional turnover.
• Provide guidance, support and line management to the team.
• Report monthly on results to ensure budget delivery.
• Build relationships with key customer personnel in the region.
• Manage regional expenditure and records.
• Arrange and attend customer events in the region.
• Address performance and HR issues with HR support.
• Participate in monthly managers training.
