Job summary

Marston’s PLC is seeking a Sous Chef to join our team in a busy pub kitchen. You’ll be in the action, second to the Head Chef, stepping up and covering when they’re away.

You’ll run the line during service and help manage all kitchen aspects, ensuring hot, quality food is plated to the pass every time. We’re looking for someone with branded experience in a similar role or as a Commis Chef who cares about high standards of food and service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role or as a Commis Chef.
• Ability to run the line during service.
• Support Head Chef in managing kitchen.
• Passion for maintaining high standards of food and service.

Responsibilities

• Be in the action in the kitchen, second in command to Head Chef, stepping up when they’re not on shift.
• Run the line during service and oversee, organise, and encourage the kitchen team.
• Assist Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
• Ensure hot, quality food is presented to the pass every time.
