Job summary

Marston’s PLC is seeking a Sous Chef to be second in command in our busy kitchen. You’ll lead by example, ensure hot, quality food is presented to the pass, and cover the Head Chef when needed.

You’ll work with the team to run the line during service, develop skills, and uphold high standards of food and service. We offer a supportive, people-first environment with real opportunities to advance.

Qualifications

• Previous branded kitchen experience in a similar role or as a Commis Chef.
• Assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
• Accountable for running the line during service.
• Help develop the kitchen team and maintain high standards.

Responsibilities

• Be right in the action in our kitchen, second in command to Head Chef.
• Step in to cover for the Head Chef when not on shift.
• Run the line during service and ensure smooth operations.
• Oversee and encourage the kitchen team, developing skills.
• Maintain the highest standards of food and service.
