Job summary

Marston’s PLC is seeking a Sous Chef to join our kitchen team at a pub setting. You’ll be right in the action, acting as second in command to the Head Chef and ensuring hot, quality food is presented to the pass every service.

You’ll support the Head Chef in all aspects of kitchen management, run the line during service, and help develop the team to maintain the highest standards of food and service.

Qualifications

• Experience in a similar branded kitchen role.
• Able to run the kitchen line during service.
• Mentor and develop junior kitchen staff.
• Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards.

Responsibilities

• Be in the action in the kitchen, second to Head Chef.
• Assist Head Chef in managing all kitchen aspects.
• Run the line during busy service periods.
• Oversee and develop the kitchen team and standards.
