Job summary

Marston’s PLC is seeking a Sous Chef to join our team in the pub kitchen. You’ll be second in command to the Head Chef, stepping up when they’re not on shift and making sure every plate meets our high standards.

You’ll bring branded experience or be an experienced Commis Chef, help manage the kitchen, run the line during service, develop the team, and maintain the highest standards of food and service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Branded experience in a similar role or as an experienced Commis Chef.
• Assist the Head Chef in managing all aspects of the kitchen.
• Accountable for running the line during service.
• Oversee, organise, and encourage the kitchen team - helping to develop their skills.
• Be passionate about maintaining the highest standards of food and service.

Responsibilities

• Be right in the action in our kitchen, second in command to our Head Chef.
• Step up and cover the Head Chef when they’re not on shift.
• Run the line during service and ensure quality and efficiency.
