Loungers is hiring a full-time Sous Chef for Curio Lounge, a local café bar. You’ll support the Head Chef, lead shifts, and ensure every dish leaving the pass is something to be proud of.

• Experience as Sous Chef or Chef de Partie preferred.
• Passion for fresh ingredients and consistent plating.
• Ability to lead and train kitchen staff.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence, ensuring smooth service from prep to plate.
• Support Head Chef and stand in during absences to maintain results.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, hygiene, and safety on the pass.
• Own key routines: prep, par, stock, waste, orders, and handovers.
• Coach and develop team members to deliver great food every shift.
