Job summary

Loungers is hiring a full-time Sous Chef for Cazaro Lounge, a local café bar. You will support the Head Chef, lead the kitchen team through service and ensure every dish leaving the pass meets high standards.

We offer a competitive base salary with bonus and overtime, 48-hour contract (with 40-hour option), and real progression opportunities across a growing hospitality brand with 300+ sites.

Qualifications

• Experience in a professional kitchen and ability to lead shifts.
• Strong standards for quality, cleanliness, hygiene and safety.
• Reliable, punctual and a team player.
• Experience as Sous Chef or similar role preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence from prep to final plate.
• Support Head Chef and lead the team through service.
• Maintain high standards on the pass and ensure food quality.
• Manage prep, par, stock, waste and shift handovers.
• Coach and develop junior chefs and teammates.
