Job summary

Piccolo Lounge, part of Loungers, is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. You’ll support the Head Chef, lead shifts and ensure every plate meets our high standards in a fast-paced café bar environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef or Junior Sous Chef.
• Passion for fresh ingredients and high standards.
• Reliable, punctual and committed to service.
• Ability to lead a kitchen team during service.
• Willingness to develop skills through in-house training.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts with confidence from prep to final plate.
• Support Head Chef and cover in their absence.
• Maintain high standards on the pass for quality, pace, hygiene and safety.
• Handle prep, par, stock, waste, orders and handovers.
• Coach and develop chefs to improve skills and outputs.
