Job summary

Loungers plc, the Casual Dining Group, is hiring a full-time Sous Chef for Pico Lounge, a local café bar. You’ll support the Head Chef, lead the kitchen team, and ensure every dish leaving the pass meets our standards.

This role offers a 48-hour contract (40-hour option), overtime pay, a bonus scheme, and progression opportunities across our growing hospitality brand with 300 sites. You’ll enjoy staff meals, discounts from day one, and a supportive environment.

Qualifications

• Experience as Sous Chef or similar role, with proven leadership.
• Ability to lead kitchen shifts and maintain standards.
• Strong focus on food quality, pace, hygiene and safety.
• Able to manage prep, par stock, and stock control.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts and keep service smooth.
• Support Head Chef and step in during absence.
• Maintain high standards on the pass and cleanliness.
• Manage prep, par, stock, waste, and handovers.
