Job summary

Loungers plc operates Truro Lounge, a local café bar, and is hiring a full-time Sous Chef to join the kitchen team. You will support the Head Chef, lead shifts and ensure every dish that leaves the pass is of the highest standard.

Responsibilities

• Lead kitchen shifts, ensuring service runs smoothly from prep to final plate.
• Support Head Chef and stand in during absence to maintain strong results.
• Maintain high standards for pass, food quality, pace, hygiene and safety.
• Own prep, par, stock, waste, orders and shift handovers.
• Coach and develop chefs to build confidence and improve skills.
