Job summary

Loungers plc in Truro is hiring Chefs to join the kitchen team at Truro Lounge. This role offers up to £12.71/hr plus tips, paid breaks, staff meals every shift, and 50% off food & drinks from day one.

We’re a growing brand with opportunities for flexible work and career progression. As part of our chef team, you’ll deliver our all‑day menu to spec, work with the Head Chef to maintain high standards, and ensure the kitchen runs smoothly from prep to plate.

Qualifications

• Experience as a Grill Chef, Line Chef or Chef de Partie in a high-volume kitchen.
• A passion for real cooking and quality food.
• Able to work efficiently under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Cook fresh food to spec; from tapas dishes, to all day Lounge breakfasts
• Support the Head Chef with prep, service, and standards
• Keep the kitchen clean, safe, and fully prepped
• Follow food safety and allergen processes at all times
• Work as one team with FOH to deliver a great experience
