Job summary

The Star Tavern in Belgravia is seeking an enthusiastic Sous Chef to join Fuller’s family. As deputy to the Head Chef, you’ll lead the kitchen when needed, craft fresh dishes from seasonal ingredients, and inspire the team to deliver exceptional service.

You’ll bring hygiene and food safety expertise, a creative mindset, and a passion for Great British pub fare. Full induction and training are provided, with opportunities to grow within Fuller’s.

Qualifications

• Hygiene qualification and strong knowledge of food safety are essential.
• Experience in a busy kitchen and ability to lead when the Head Chef is away.
• Proactive with seasonal, local ingredients and menu ideas.

Responsibilities

• Take full control of the kitchen when the Head Chef is away.
• Prepare fresh food made from seasonal, local ingredients.
• Bring new ideas and create fresh dishes.
• Bring out the best in the kitchen team.
