Job summary

Fuller’s The Market Stores on Reigate High Street is seeking a dedicated Sous Chef to lead the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence and maintain high cooking standards. You’ll craft fresh dishes from seasonal, local ingredients and inspire the team to deliver excellent service in a busy pub environment.

Qualifications

• Deputy to the Head Chef, able to take control when the Head Chef is away.
• Pride in preparing fresh food made from seasonal, local ingredients.
• Creative Sous Chef who can bring new ideas and create fresh dishes.
• Lead and develop the kitchen team to perform at a high level.
• Excellent hygiene, food knowledge and food safety awareness are essential.

Responsibilities

• Take full control of the kitchen in the Head Chef’s absence.
• Prepare fresh dishes using seasonal, local ingredients.
• Bring new ideas and create fresh dishes for the menu.
• Bring out the best in the kitchen team during service.
